Martinelli is an accomplished businessman and you have to respect anyone who can win an election in the slippery slope that is latin american politics. but the jury is out since he has no real track record to speak of. he seems to be making a lot of nice photo opportunities internationally so that may be good to boost Panama`s stature. We`ll see Martinelli. Hopefully this man of money can understand just how poor most of the people of Panama are and find a way to give them a better standard of living. still Panama offers a great standard compared to a lot of Latin America. and the hand of the Americans can not be discounted in putting Panama and latin America in general in the state it is in. Is Martinelli a US puppet or a real for the people candidate for Panamanians. Hoping for the best. Go Martinelli!
