Republic of Panama first separated from the American Continent Conqueror Spain on 11/28/1821, but it was part of Colombia (Granda / Great Colombia), which was a group of now independant Countries. Panama finally became independant on Tuesday 11/3/1903 and became a Republic and a democratic country.

You will need a Visa. The tourist visa form is sold near the immigration desk, for five dollars. It will grant you a 90 day stay in Panama. You take it to the immigration counter, at the PTY airport. They look at your passport and the visa and stamp your passport and that is the vias. At the end of your 90 days, you leave the country and return after 72 hours for another tourist visa. The tourist visa is the easiest and least expensive way to visit Panama.

Between costa rica and panama, which country is better to go abroad? my goal is to learn spanish as well as being surrounded by culture. costa rica and panama have different culture. one is filled with forest while the other is modern(panama). i cant decide which country to go to for the month of july.

If you can try to spend 15 days in Costa Rica and 15 days in Panama . I'm a Panamanian and you can experience the difference in cultures in that way.
Panama City is a more modern metropolis than San Jose, but then again that is the beauty of San Jose. In Panama you will find that people are more busy, and that they like to party about everything. Costa Rica is a bit more laid back, especially if you go to the beach.
Panamanians and Costaricans are great people so there's no point in saying who's better.
