Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua are all great places to be in March, though it`s one of the more warmer months for those three Central American countries. Just remember many South American countries` seasons are flipped with those of North America.

Out of your list I would say Seville and Andalusia (Southern Spain). It is the place with the best weather in March, spring will have started and you have a decent chance at some sunshine.

I also like Jerusalem and Istanbul from your list, but Istanbul is not exactly at its best in March (mid-/late-April is better) and the security situation in Israel is kinda sketchy right now.
Amsterdam, Glasgow and Oslo in March will be just dreary and rainy. The mountains around Sofia might still see some snow, it could be the best choice if you want a skiing holiday.
EDIT: You say you need a visa to go to Sydney, that made me pause. If you need a visa to go to the Schengen Area it will be difficult to get one until March, this rules out almost all of Europe except maybe Turkey.

Five days will only leave you wanting more! Here are some suggestions by island.
OAHU
This is a great place if you guys are "foodies."; You'll get the most culture and variety here. For Hawaiian food: try shave ice, spam musubi, saimin noodles, kalua pork, malasadas. Then there's all the asian food: sushi, Korean BBQ, yum! For a nice evening out I recommend starting with Mai Tais at the Shorebird in Waikiki and sort of letting the aloha spirit carry you from there.
You can also pick up cheap souvenirs at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet (see link below for days of operation). Something fun that's free (if you have a car) is check out surfers on the north shore. Get a shave ice, sit on the beach. Aaaaa! If you keep driving around the north part of the island you'll eventually get to the beautiful and not-as-visited Byodo-In Temple.
The USS Arizona is a popular attraction (go early), and so is the Dole Pineapple plantation- but I'd pass on that unless you really love pineapple ice cream.
MAUI
If you want to do something uniquely "island": try a discover scuba (you could do this on any of the islands really). Something like two-thirds of Hawaii's underwater life can't be found anywhere else in the world.
The other big thing to do in Maui is drive the road to Hana. You have never seen so many beautiful waterfalls in your life! Bring your camera...
I recommend the "Revealed" series of books. I always loan out my copy of Maui Revealed and everyone raves about it. There's also an Oahu Revealed, Big Island Revealed, etc.
HAWAII - The Big Island
If you have a car, drive up to Volcanos National Park. Check the link below to see if the lava is flowing and viewable from the park. It can be very fogged in up there, bring a coat! Oh, and tune in to the local radio station KAPA (there aren't that many radio stations, you'll find it eventually). That's a great way to get a feel for local life.
The Big Island has a famous spot from the "100 Things to Do Before You Die" book. You can snorkel or scuba dive with Manta Rays at night. I've done it and it's amazing, something I'll never forget. I'll put links at the bottom to a couple operators who do the Manta Dive/Snorkel experience.
Other things to do on the Big Island: visit Kona brewing or the Seahorse Farm.
INTER-ISLAND FLIGHTS
One last thing, I recommend doing your inter-island flights with one of the smaller, local air carriers (see links below). Last time I was in Hawaii it cost me only $39 for an inter-island flight - way cheaper than on Hawaiian Airlines.
With the smaller carriers, just purchase a ticket for the last flight of the day. If you want to leave sooner, just show up at the airport and they can usually get you on an earlier flight. It's like a bus pass! Usually there isn't a fee, but be sure and check with the carrier.
The planes are small (prop planes) and fly lower so you get amazing views. It can be bumpy though, so, if that bugs you stick with the jets.

Hi, if you go to Florida, go to Orlando. It is basically the central point of Florida. There is a ton of things to see. You aren't that far from Tampa, Cape Canaval, Saint Augustine. etc... Those cities are from 50 to 150 miles of Orlando which have sight seeing attractions. Good luck

Q. Best place in us to visit in february/march? my family hasn't traveled often in the past, but we are looking to take a trip (yay!!!) this february/march (feb27th-mar2ndish, ideally). we are traveling from the dfw area in texas. i am trying to scope out places that would be pretty, and we are looking for somewhere that probably has a 'pleasant' temperature...not below freezing, but it doesn't necessarily have to be on the 'hot' end of the scale.
i am also trying to look for a place that would get us the best bang for our buck. i am also more interested in places that aren't necessarily high tourist places (like la, nyc, las vegas).
any help would be amazing!
