The Panama Diamond Exchange (PDE) is set to become part of the top level market for diamonds globally putting it on par with simliar exchanges in; the US, Russia, China and the UK.
The PDE will be investing approximately $200 million in the construction of it's new headquarters which is set to be constructed in Punta del Este in Panama City. The building will be created in the shape of a diamond and will create over 3000 new jobs in Panama.
The PDE will be supplying the Latin American market regionally with diamonds and precious stones within a fully regulated, licensed and internationally recognized framework.
The diamond business globally generates more than $200 billion in annual revenues with the Panama Diamond Exchange expected to generate over $5 billion annually.
